SilverTech privacy commitment

Privacy &
Digital Safety

Technology assistance often involves personal devices, private accounts and sensitive information. SilverTech approaches that responsibility with care, transparency and respect.

01

Your privacy comes first

Your devices and accounts may contain personal information, private conversations, photographs, financial details and other sensitive material. I will access only the device, account, setting or information needed to provide the help you requested.

I will explain what I am doing and ask for your permission before accessing anything that is not already clearly within the scope of the appointment.

02

Passwords and account access

SilverTech will never ask you to send or disclose your passwords, PINs, one-time security codes, recovery keys or answers to security questions.

When signing in is necessary, you will be encouraged to enter your credentials yourself whenever possible. SilverTech does not record, photograph, copy or retain your credentials.

If a temporary password must be created during an appointment, you will be encouraged to replace it with a private password known only to you before the appointment ends.

03

Information viewed during an appointment

While providing assistance, I may briefly see information displayed on your device or account. I will not intentionally access unrelated files, photographs, messages, contacts, browsing history or account information.

Information viewed while assisting you will not be copied, retained or shared unless you specifically request an action that requires it and clearly authorize that action.

04

Information submitted through the website

The appointment form currently asks for your name, phone number, optional email address, city or ZIP code, device type, a description of the help you need, preferred date and time, preferred contact method and optional notes.

This website is currently a preview. The form does not transmit or store the information you enter, and no appointment request is sent. The site does not currently use analytics, advertising trackers or nonessential cookies.

This notice will be updated before online submissions or additional data services are enabled.

05

How information is used

Information you provide to SilverTech will be used only to respond to your request, schedule and provide services, communicate with you about those services and maintain necessary business records.

SilverTech does not sell customer information or use it for unrelated advertising.

06

Protecting your digital identity

When appropriate, I may recommend practical steps that can improve your security and privacy, such as enabling multifactor authentication, using unique passwords, setting up a password manager, reviewing account recovery options, installing updates and strengthening device or Wi-Fi security.

These recommendations are intended to help you make informed decisions. No service or security measure can guarantee protection from every scam, data breach, account compromise or identity-theft attempt.

07

Respectful and limited access

SilverTech follows a simple principle: access only what is necessary to complete the work you requested, and nothing more.

You may ask questions, decline a step or end access to a device or account at any time.

08

Questions or privacy requests

If you have a question about how your information was handled, or if you would like SilverTech to correct or delete information you previously provided, please contact me.

Use the SilverTech request form and mention that your message concerns privacy or personal information.
